Spacemarket is connected to some of the most vibrant people and businesses in WA. We inject life back into urban spaces by consulting with building owners and property developers to fill their otherwise vacant spaces with creative and connected communities. This, in turn, helps to sustainably rebuild a sense of place, both culturally and economically.

As urban populations grow, working behaviours change and the nature of cities evolve, it has become increasingly important to find ways to occupy existing buildings that, for whatever reason, have become vacant.

Re-using our existing built infrastructure is the most ready and sustainable way to provide opportunities for our community and to reactivate disused parts of our inner-urban areas.

Since 2011, over 500 small-business tenants - primarily in the creative services and creative arts sectors - have been housed across 30,000m2 of floorspace.

By working with building owners, developers, government bodies, philanthropists, and asset managers, Spacemarket enables artists, designers, business ventures and merchants to access central, affordable and flexible spaces that would ordinarily be out of reach.

By working with us, you are helping to make our cities more ecclectic and diverse, while supporting local businesses and our environment.
